The Transfer

In 2007, six nuclear warheads flew across the United States without authorization for 36 hours. Ada finds the crew chief who filed the original incident report before it was replaced. His report named the airman who loaded the weapons and referenced an anomalous communication received that morning. The replacement report documents a procedural failure. The difference between the two is the difference between an accident and an order.
