Between 1951 and 1962, 100 above-ground nuclear tests at the Nevada Test Site produced fallout patterns documented in classified meteorological studies not disclosed to downwind communities. Ada finds the meteorologist who ran the fallout tracking program. His classified maps showed fallout reaching communities at levels exceeding classified safety thresholds. He destroyed the maps in 1984 under orders. He kept the destruction log, which lists each map by date and measured fallout density.
